Looking good @Mackers
What you gonna put up there then?:)
I'm gonna drive from jon ogroat to lands end in the summer. I'm looking for some old fashioned canvas luggage bags and 'stuff' to put on. Other than that, it's for climbing on and looking at when I get some ladders :D:eek::D:D

Have you always had mismatched tyres?

Cheers
I dint know I did and I'm not even gonna look to check if yer right. As long as they're the right size, I have to say that tread patterns don't keep me awake at night.

So you gonna do it twice then effectively:)
Go for it, nothing wrong with an adventure. Plenty of pics on the way, some great views down at lands end :)
roof tent?:D
Headliner fitted yet?

Not started planning yet, but I might sleep foetal position in back. I think it'll be alright. Toad alarm being fitted on monday then I'll run reversing cams leads then put headliner on

All I can say is you need to be able to lay flat. Being cramped will soon make you grumpy and tired.
I have slept in the back of a RR with the lower tailgate down and top 1 closed with feet sticking out.:)
There was a post on here that showed a type of awning clipped to the rack, looked very useful.

Cheers, I'll try and find it

Bit of a bugger trying to keep the nut spannered behind these bolts. Left em half screwed in til I work out where I can get a small spanner and some plasters for my left forearm. Loads of soil on the ledge behind too.

well I've done the speakers in the rear telephone thing. Made my own spacers from 15 mm cork and the rubber A3 sheeting from hobbycraft that's great for a lot of tratter stuff actually. One speaker's a bit ****ed, but apart from that ...

Today I've ran speaker wire, and reversing camera wires. I've decided to have 2 interior lights but they're horridly bright white (120 leds) and they don't go with the snakeskin roof. Anyway. I decided I wanted the veins of the croc skin, but I needed a contrast. I remembered onyx and brass tables. Inspired, I've done both my lights just like em. Here's how I did it:

Front next, which I'm not exactly looking forward to. I've ran the wires for the stereo and the reversing monitor, but I know I'm gonna have to take the dash off cos I need to silent coat the front bulkhead.

Cameras on too now

How much silent coat did you use on that? I still need to do my tub, but I have side windows. I have almost 1 full box left, and some offcuts from the first box. Do you think it will be enough?
