Says the man who put a rusty engine back into a shiny new chassis :):)

Says the man who didn't. D'ya know? It's very difficult to construe another's post. Is it jovial banter, jealousy; someone having a bad day, ... . All I can do is send love and peace energy back to all the poor souls who prefer to err on the negative.

re seat bases. You have a tidy motor & want to continue with the good work.
Make sure the welds are ok across the front so the foam does not fall out.

As the seats are apart what about heated seats? Easy to fit

Lol. I'm gonna make a list of the light and dark shades of LZ members next. I have two very serious ones on the list who are never joking, and I'm to develop a thick skin and stop showing off. I have other LZ friends (yourself now on it) who like a laugh. I'm in this shaded area myself. Then there are the neutrals (just the nice, mentor-type LZers). Who else is what? We might never know :):):oops::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Cheers. Just looked. This one (drivers) is A1. It might be newish, I dunno, but I'll know to check that with the other two now :)

Your on members builds & everyone shows off any pictures of the builds. This Does help some people.
I like seeing what people do & sometimes may have a go. But as it took me 2 years from getting a bulkhead to fitting( not all delays were caused by me) I don't build things fast.
Yep my motor was purchased 1992 & rebuilt. It's not show room condition but it used to be a work horse. I still get enjoyment from tinkering with it & each dent tells a story.
Here's our 3 motors in France.

Shared triumph with family member & a friend was running it in.

Show & be proud.... :)

Brilliant. Summer and winter ones :) I love the bottle green colour. I was trying to make out what the middle one is? Is it a Hilman or a Triumph?

That's a triumph herald. ;)
This is used on long trips to car shows or classic rally stages. Landrovers are flat out at 40.
Love all three. Just sorry I can't technically/mechanically comment as LZs do, but hey! I can admire them, imagine them being enjoyed on the road, and that's all that matters :)

The right badge for 92 (apparently according to above post) on today. I'm not sure it's right, but it's oem so I dunno???? Also, left indicator, but not complete yet as it's missing a u clip, which I'm getting a pack of tomorrow. As I'm doing headliner in new year (and because I've heard horror stories about getting the plastic push clips out), I had a bash at getting two out. A lot of the rough and ruggeds who like to rough it with their tratters might be interested to know that our vehicles love hairdryers. Whilst I had it out to easily get the old front badge off, I had a thought of warming the plastic studs up, It softens the plastic and they came out easily.
