Anybody local to here... On way home from LZ11 and smoke in cab. Limped it off and bonnet up coolant seems to be everywhere but no sign of split pipes.

Help needed as wife and 2 nippers in tow. No tools! Bloody typical.

back in maesteg now,is serpentine belt still attached?,is there water back in the header tank?

Belt is ok. Water in header tank is ok. Guage reading normal. Gonna limp it back down the old roads.

trying to work out how there was smoke,thinking belt or pulley bearing,do you have breakdown cover?

yes,possibly 300 tdi so needs rad and stat housing checking to see if there full

It's not far off. Struggling to start and stay started hence the Malvern parking request. Currently in park? near Malvern fire station so as close as an inch away would be helpful even if it's just a heads up about leaving it in residential street for day or two without being messed with would be nice.

Bit of a long shot but a Few years ago we had a camping weekend (Bikers weekend) at Welland, just outside Malvern. They seemed decent owners and i'm sure if Ponty explained the situation with the kids etc they wouldn't mind him leaving it in the car park? We camped in the field attached to the pub.
