It doesn't matter what breakdown club you're with. If the trucks are busy they're busy. You have to remember that the aa and rac rely on subcontractors too. Greenflag and brittania don't have any of their own trucks so there is a high likelyhood that you would have been waiting just as long no matter who you were with.

True... Do they give priority to certain people? As in a woman with kid on the motorway in the rain over a bloke on an A road?

Yes and No. They do prioritise jobs where possible but the lady alone thing got binned cos people were taking the mickey.

If I get a job and know it's someone vulenerable I will get their as fast as my truck will allow though.;)

eg. Someone at the roadside will have priority over someone who is safe and sound at home. A vehicle that has cut out with no battery power/lights on a dark country lane will have priority over someone in a carpark in town etc.

I only ever called aa when I needed taking home and I know its cant be fixed on the roadside, First my cam belt broke I told them I need a recovery truck, 2 hours later they arrive in a van and says your too heavy to tow with this van.

Next one my turbo was dead, same thing again, waited 4-5 hours in total
