Point taken Boomer and mad hat man on your comments, this may have got out of hand, but i had just reason for my condenmnation of the route and its prior planning. i recived a number of PMs on this and other channel with regards to 90boys methods of obtaining route info from others, still this did not deter me from helping, as everybody has there own views, lack of information by way of phone calls or PMs, still i was go to the idea, when i eventually recived the route info that would fit on the back of a fag packet, alarms began to ring to the ammount of thought gone into the venture, we spoke on the phone briefly numerous times, info or lack of was limited and no re-routes 'at that time' had been preplaned. i then felt this had been hastely put together, i had to push the point over corwen and its dangers, as to wayfares, 'all i asked for was a revision to the route'. the final nail came after a phone call from someone who HAS done this route with him before, and expressed concern after i have only known this pearson a short time pearsonally, after a river crossing, there words to me were, he drove straight in without first testing deapth or current, endangering himself or others whom may have had to rescue, then incoraged them through as a novice to drive on to which they found themselves not wanting to lose face or become the butt of bantter, obliged to go on, the became scared ****less as there landy began to drift slightly downstream due to the current and strugle to gain traction, this could have gone horriblly wrong as the water was of a fair depth. wether due to my job or maybe a bit of a perfectionist i look toward the inevitable, and i'm sorry but i take trip planing seriously for everyone cocerned, and armed with all these facts, what was i supposed to do, my first post in this sordid matter stated 'help withdrawn untill route revised' and he showed some proof of planing and thought how else would you learn, you don't get everything for nothing, you have to help yourself a certain ammount to gain an understanding of the points i raised.... So for my part in this 90boy i offer my appoliges wether right or wrong, should you still want help on the route and trip planing get your arse up with me on boxing day i will take you round locally and provide you info to help you better understand lanes, hazzards, and re-routing, to suit all whom you take out, hopefully we can put this now behind us and move on.
