As promised, A weather update! :)

Forecast has deteriorated a bit over the last few days.

Now on showers on the Sat. late showers on the Sunday. Temps are fine, 16-17 degrees, winds moderate. Should be fairly comfortable in the showground, just duck the showers, or wear waterproofs! :)

Conditions on the ground were bad yesterday, howling wind and heavy squally showers. Bit nicer today, dry, cold, and windy.

I will be going whatever the weather, on the Saturday at least,
 
Have got the wife's car for the weekend, what do you think the ground will be like for a tent. Looks like its going to be raining hard tonight.

Early access on Friday if you are camping, are the bargains first come first served or run through the weekend?

Bit hard to say, the forecast is changing almost as quickly as the weather. Ground is not saturated, due to the time of year. No rain today, strong wind and sun will have dried the ground, and only showers predicted, not continuous rain, until the event.

So I would have thought ok, but I am not really the person to ask. I never sleep in tents. My boat is much better, and even before I had a boat, I would always sleep in a vehicle rather than a tent. Estate car or a big hatchback with an air mattress is ansum. :)
 
camped in the show every year for the last 10 never been any issues regardless of weather worst thing is the way some of the animals treat the toilet and shower facilties half price drinks in the bar this friday
 
And the mini spiders there were hudreds of the bloody things last year. Im all set driving up friday morning ish from aberdare. S wales hope i get there in one piece. Lol if you see my landy pop in guys

Lot of spiders round here at the moment. They are mounting a full frontal assault on my boat.

Best of luck with the journey. Are you on a stall, or just going to the event?
 
Another weather update.

Light rain forecast for the Friday, winds still fairly moderate, Temperature set to be about 15C.

On the Saturday, showers, moderate winds, 15C again.

Sunday maybe better, showers in the afternoon, light winds, maybe up to 16C.

Conditions here this morning gloomy, cool, light rain.
 
Forecaster's seem to be lightening the rain expected Sunday again but it looks fairly certain for showers Friday pm and likely for Saturday pm.

I work in central Peterborough and this week it seems to suddenly chuck it down heavy for 5 mins then go dry and clear again.
 
Well i never saw this coming im in a and e with a painfull groin woke me up earlier gutted not sure if i can make it. Paid for weekend in jan. Gutted
