3D printing is far to modern and fancy for an old series vehicle. What is wrong with cutting a slot in an old chineseium socket!

Nothing wrong with butchering a socket at all It's just I have a printer and plenty of filament plus the software knowledge to design and print in a couple of hours

I didn’t realise 3d printers were that cheap , paid more for normal printers , useful tool if you have the imagination to make bits you need

Yeah they can be pretty cheap. Pretty easy to build, maintain and repair too. Over on the Discord 3D printing channel theres a ton of help if needed and a section where people like me are happy to make simple models and edits to models for you. Theres also a few good sources of 3D models for free download like Thingyverse, where I uploaded / shared the tool above. More tech related models can be found on Grabcad where I also uploaded a Series 3 chassis model Im working on Grabcad-S3 - 88 Chassis 3D model
