loud vibrating sound at speed

Hi All. My P38 has got the most horrendous vibrating sound seems to be coming from the area of the screen vents( sounds like a vibrating air flap down some vent.) It is not the wiper blades vibrating. It has happened off and on since I bought 2 years ago, occuring at speeds above 85mph,or if a heavy vehicle passes in the opposite direction, I get a burst of sound. Last Saturday evening on a 200 mile journey to the North East of England I must have had a head wind as this racket was on for 95% of the 3 hours forcing me to drive at 60/70. Anyone got a solution before I go deaf. Goldpanner

Hi I had the same problem. I terned out to be the finisher along the bottom of the windscreen. It is only held in place with 12 little plastic clips and if it doesn't sit flush the air can get under it.

Hi
I have the same problem at the moment, and it is the lower trim on the screen. If you want to check before buying a new trim just put a strip of
insulation tape along it sticking it to the window and then take it for a drive, if it stops then its proved the cause of the noise.
