Fixed one yesterday and took piccies will post later...1 hour to find/gather/borrow tools...1 hour to beat child into helping....1 hour to repair

This happened to me it was my final drive main cog slipping don’t panic if it only happens when you are on full lock in reverse as this is a safety feature on the Freelander K series.

Sorry NI mines a three door. and i can see the crack. Incidentally the rubber mounting seemed to quieten the whole of the back end down. Rear window wires have arrived from e-bay, the instructions look a bit daunting but i'll have a look on weekend.
