Loss of power and hardly accelerating

i took the truck out the other day to get my coolant flowing through the system and took it down the bypass.

I was accelerating and got to around 75-78mph and felt a strange loss in power and I backed off, slowed down and then put my foot to the floor and it got to 75mph and that was it.
I came off the next junction, turned around and tried again and it only got to 80mph and struggled to move past that, it also took a long time to get up to these speeds.

I'm now wondering what it could be and I'm going to clean the maf and map sensors tomorrow in a hope that it will help.

I've also read that it could possibly be a stuck wastegate and it may be overboosting but I'm not familiar with how I would sort this out so it would be much appreciated if somebody could advise me on what to do on this please.

And if there's anything else that's simple for me to check then let me know.

Check all the turbo boost pipes and clips. Don't drive over 70

Odd engine behaviour can be caused by oil in the injector wiring loom which often shows up as contamination in the red plug on the engine ECU. Check out::-

quite right too. The unofficial acceleration figures for the Td5 Disco are 0 to 60 .... eventually.
