Just made an exhaust for mine using 2 Cherry Bombs I had kicking about, not really done any fabrication before, but I'm well pleased with the results
No power loss, great sound, but not too loud and no droning
I was just gonna replace rear box with one bomb, but it made sod all difference to it, and centre box was on the way out so...
Removed entire system, laid out on sheet of plain masking paper and marked the line of system, where the boxes, hangers and obviously where the ends are
Cut mounting flange off centre box, then laid the first bomb, then about a foot of straight, new 2.5 inch pipe, going to the old curved piece (over axle) to rear and another bomb there.
All cuts were allowing a bit extra for adjustment, I then tacked flange to centre bomb and mounted, then lose hung all other bits, trimming then tacking when correct before removing all again and properly (well my standard of 'properly' anyway) welding up
I slit the pipe where it joins rear of centre box so this could be clamped under vehicle to make installation easier
Ok it won't win Neatest Fabrication of the Year, but I'm chuffed to bits with it
Thanks you 2 above!!! on the whole i have had negative responses cant see why? It is louder and deeper sounding in real life and only cost £189 pounds for the whole exhaust.
Pics ?
