I ordered 1 clamp and 3 rubber bushes for £10 extra and it is an easy fit there are 3 welded hangers on the exhaust and they fit the existing exhaust mounts.

But me being lazy i got my local garage to fit it.

Awesome mate i started with a V8 Range rover with a similar sound the guy before me had done the exhaust, it also ran on LPG and occasionally gave a burst of flames out of the twin exhausts out the back. Probably dangerous!!!! but it sounded really cool, there is a guy near me who has made a bespoke S/STeel exhaust for his TD5 it comes out of the side and that really sounds cool.
It sounds fast even though you are only doing 10mph!!!!

thought you had nicked me number plate till i went outside and checked mine same except 814 sounds good gotta love a v8 even if the juice means we eat lard breakfast dinner and tea :- )

I bought my disco off a chap in dec 2007 from cornwall he had only owned it 6 months and before that was owned by a printing/publishing company that went bust and ended up forgotten about in a barn for 9 years. It was still pretty shabby when i bought it, i had to rub down a few patches of aluminium corrosion and respray, polish up the rest of the car put some nice wheels on it, new starter, battery, coil, high performance ignition leads etc. Then again i only paid £790 for a 73,000 mile 3.9 efi disco with 6 months tax and test.

But the rover v8 is the best sounding v8 ever made, my bmw has 4.0l v8 and it sounds nowhere near as nice.

Hey, be honest- does it do your head in after a while?

I actually want to hear my v8 now the bloody tapping has gone! (just fitted new cam/tappets/chain)

There aren't many off shelf options for the v8 disco- just the darn expensive full milltek sports or the double S which looks no different to the standard exhaust (both rimmers). Janspeed don't do 'em anymore

Janspeed say contact Scorpion Racing, they are now stockists of their systems.

I got mine from these people Janspeed Exhausts, Performance Car Parts - Euro Performance
but it came direct from Janspeed although Euro have now stopped doing disco's also.

Ahh cheers fella. just called scorpion and they sell the janspeeds for the 3.9 efi for 284 which ain't that bad 'cause I plan on keeping the old girl for a few years yet. Mines a 3.5 with cats (only made them a few months I believe) so I just need to make sure it will 100% fit.

Sorry to be a pain in the butt but you haven't got a pic of it have you?

Hi 3.5disco. I will ge a pic or two for u, I didn't take any when I fitted it last summer i will get the back and mid box and any thing else that will show up, the pipe work is now dis-coloured with heat and road muck.

I had a look at the three main system suppliers at Billing over the years each time I went there (as I new my time would come one day) and Janspeed looked the better build, better bends, better welding no welding splash etc and the parts bolt together with a flange non of this sliding one pipe into another stuff and it fitted exactly.

that is a vauxhall with a punch i know you all love your landys but man you gotta take your hat off to that boy when you have seen his article or have seen him race.

for raceing cars they have every thing from junior dragsters for the kids to monster truck raceing to lorries dragraceing right up to the big 8000bhp nitro dragsters and lots of them well tweeked.

any one got the urge to tweek ther v8 come visit and ask them as the pits are open to the public.

any one got the urge to drag a 4x4 there has been a jeep finished last year specialy built for drag raceing and it looked the nuts but came in with a 13.9 second pass as it way to heavy

It's on my list of things to do which will be done in order and you are slowly getting to the top of that list, you know the hours I work are long so you should understand and know to please be patient
