i am having a problem with the door locks on my P38. The front doors dont lock with the remote and when you lock with the key the passanger door wont lock. Could it be the latch or the micro switches.##PLEASE HELP

It sounds like you need two new door latch/lock mechanisms. If you get inside the vehicle and lock the passenger door manually (push the button down) does it lock?? does it activate all the other locks?? Same with the drivers door, if you get in and manually lock does it lock all the other doors??

hi Will, if i push the button down on the passinger door it locks both backs doors and that one not boot, if i push the lock down on the drivers door it locks that one both back doors and the boot.

yup, sounds like two new door latch mechanisms are in order im afraid.

when i got mine done when i first got the car they were around £150 each IIRC but i had them done for me at that time so that probably was with labour as well, its one of the receipts i dont seem to have.

they arent that difficult to do once you have the door card off though. few simple bolts and an electrical connector.
