Evening all.
Newbie here..
I'm the proud owner of a 91' 110, 200tdi but...
Dip beam stopped working at the weekend, so checked out some of the threads on here which seemed to point towards the dim/dip relay, until just now when the rear lights stopped working (break lights are fine) Is there an obvious answer to this or should I purchase a multi metre and start checking the loom.
All fuses are fine.

I'm a little concerned as I'm taking the family away in the 110 to the South of France in 2 weeks!

Thanks

Check the light switch. My guess is that the plastic has melted and the metal contact has sunken down into it. If this is the case a new light switch is required although it can be bodged temporarily to keep you on the road.

If you think it is either of the switches then replace it / them straight away as you don't want electrical problems when you are away. Luckily replacing either switch is an easy job (On / Off switch moreso than the Hi / Low).
You don't have any additional lights spliced into the circuits do you?
