Hmm, I have used this plug loads of times before as it has twin sockets on the end of it so I can run more than 1 item of the cigar lighter.
It was this kettle that was plugged into one of these with the other unoccupied. I have used this loads of times to run the sat nav and charge camera battery packs at the same time. The guy I bought it from said that the kettle should have not been used with the extension, why the hell not I don't know.
The problem is that the kettle lead is not very long and I would have to boil it in the footwell and this would steam up the car.
I am going to see a local chap tomorrow who owns a car electricals business in the town and see what he says, I'm going to get him to fit another power outlet in the rear side panel so I can power items from the boot of the motor as this would come in very handy.
