I've seen these things called "Leveling Kits" that raise the front end of your truck a few inches so it doesn't have that sloped-forward profile and rides level. Why would I want to install one of these? Do they really help anything? Though I like the look of a level truck, I'm wary of tampering with the design of the factory suspension. This would be on a Toyota Tundra, BTW. Thanks.

I usually think of those for folks that have winches and things hanging
off the front bumper. The kit brings it back to stock which isn't
usually 'level'.

Level would be pretty silly unless you drove around empty all the time.

I have my Jeep springs made with my winch in mind so I sit stock with it
on. If I take it off, my Jeep sits level which looks pretty funny
actually.

I'm probably going to go with a leveling kit on my Super Duty. This
will give me just enough room for the tires I want to run.

With the leveling kit, the truck will ride ass-low with a full load or
a heavy trailer unless air bags are added. This isn't a problem for
me as I don't load my truck down often.

I don't see much down side to the leveling kit except for what I
mentioned above. The amount of lift usually is 1.5" or less and this
shouldn't cause many (if any) negative issues regarding
suspension/steering geometry.
