thank you all for the kind words I'm at peace with the situation and being surrounded by friends and family this weekend I've never felt so loved.God bless every one.sorry I can't type a more individual response, get tired so easyMate, you're the only person to have sent me something out the blue and goodness of the heart. I've since been doing it a lot for many, many others.
As far as I'm concerned, you can't go anywhere until I've returned the favour and I'm nowhere near ready to do that.
Get them hoes lined up!

Thanks mate,I think you can get the little black number cleaned, sorry about the stainsVery saddened to hear of your prognosis @tomcat59alan ...
You've been such a great stalwart on here with your end of pier humour, your self perpetuating generosity of spirit, but above all that I must thank you personally for the unfettered access to your startlingly abundant collection of kinky dresses.
I wish for you the most pleasant of journeys when the bell tolls my friend.
God speed and give em hell !!!
Sausage.

Sheffield Hallam Hospital, where I went for my gamma knife thing, was brilliant. Works where they can't actually cut you open.Bugger - not the news anyone wants. Only just got on here after nearly a week of fleeting access. Fingers crossed there is something they can do to knock it out / slow it / give you decent quality of life. I know the Christie in Manchester was doing pioneering stuff with proton beam treatment, radiographer friend of mine was trying to get a job there a few years back as she wanted to be working at the cutting edge.
Lost the mate who sold me my Triumph a few years ago - also a brain tumour. He had to be watched 24 hours a day towards the end, if they took their eyes off him he'd escape. But they always found him quickly - he'd head straight for McD's, then find he had no money on him!
Keep cheery, positive, take what you can from life and keep us updated when you can.
