Freelander 2 (LR2) Language change without satnav/infotainment screen

Hi,
Just bought a 2009 Freelander 2.
Trying to change the language but no matter how much I look online, I can only find instructions for changing it with the infotainment screen which the model I have doesn't have.

Is there some weird button combination that enters the car into set up mode?

No. The language can only be changed with JLR SDD or the Gap IID tool.
It can't be changed in the vehicle without a diagnostic tool.
