Hi guys you've probably seen pictures i shared yesterday posted by a farmer up Hartside Cafe area near Alston. Where folk have been going off piste
I've spoke to him and hes willing to let us help up there and try to stop this.
I'm looking for some volunteers to help out in this, it will be manual labour mainly but offers of any help is good to keep the spirits up of others ( making brews refreshments etc etc)
Main plan is put some way markers up including posts to put on.
Put some drainage and level off where they have churned it up. ( hopefully use of mini digger as well)
I'm looking for this to happen 22nd May 9.30/ 10am start meeting at Hartside Cafe.
You'll need to bring your own PPE
I.e safety boots, gloves etc hi viz vests are available on the day.
This is a cold place so please bring suitable clothing to keep you warm and dry.
There is a cafe there but does get busy
please bring suitable clothing and footwear, there is a cafe buti t does get busy so think about food and drink requirements.
Any tools you bring / use must be in good conditiion.
