Me and roy have been chatting to one of the organisers of http://www.bristolandwestlandrovershow.com/index.html His name is Mark Pattenden and he is a member on Landyzone as Discovery2man and he should now have a nice shiny orange username.

If you have a look on the website you will notice that the show isn't the normal commercialised show, it's for charity BLESMA

Basically Mark likes to set himself a bit of a challenge, and for this show he wants to have the record for largest Land rover gathering in one place. The Blesma challenge is to get more than 1000 Land Rovers into the shape of a Land rover for the record.

We are planning to have a club stand at the the show, and from speaking to Mark it sounds like it could be a very good weekend!.

So the question is, who is interested in having a LandyZone club stand? On the forms it says 8 vehicles per club, but Mark says that if we can raise more, he will find a way to accomodate us.
So have a look at the website, see what you think and Vote in the poll.

Ok a little more info has filtered in today.,...

For one,,, it seems that there is going to be some kind of award for the best club stand!! this we have to win! no questions!!

Secondly i have the 11 passes that are already paid for. I will be there by lunch ish on the friday and will pay for the rest and the money changing ****e will come later.

I have spoken with the organiser today and we WILL be camping on our stand (good news) anyone wishing to be on the stand and not camping MUST be there between 7:00 and 9:00 each day. Us **** heads will be just waking up by this point :)

We need to have a heads up regarding times of arrival etc, and I think we might have a fresh no nonsense thread for that. Me being the ultimate optimist would like the four corners of the country to arrive in a Landyzone style massive convoy!

Me and Roy will be leaving the north west early doors and aiming to be in Bristol at lunch ish. Anyone coming from anywhere remotely north that we can meet on the way, we shall meet. Once at the ground I will make sure that I meet anyone and hand out passes, or if the timing is out I can post them before hand, whichever suits best!

It's getting close now and Wingy is getting excited... Bring on Bristol!!!!!

Unless the ballast can get the morning off work I doubt if I'll get down there until around 2pm ish....

Unless I get her to bring the chav box down when she's finished so I can get down there early.:D:D:D
