honest mate i tried everywhere online and ringing around must of spent 100 quid in phone calls

cheapest i could get was 1800 with a years ncd but insurance prices change on a monthly basis so im told

as for an 88 i found its exactly the same price as a defender as i tried a few qoutes for my series 2

as for nfu na my family are all with adrain flux as was i on my first car,but they wanted 2300 to insure my defender so i was up the road

im 18 and ive got a 90

have you done pass plus? this reduces it a bit, usually more reduction than cost of course so worth doing

other thing i did was advanced driving course (iam.org.uk) this reduces it a lot

its still expensive though so i am building up no claims for a bit with focus then when have bit more disposable in year or so il use 90

as for companies, everyone i talked to said adrian flux gave them best quote

yep done pass plus its aloud of fooking **** a complete and utter con i know loads of mates of mine have done it too a complete waste of money dont knock any money off at all

might your up your way dont know

i know it knocks loads of for women but there insurance is half are price to start with:doh:
as for the advanced driving i may look into it

adrain flux treid them 2300 my quote with a years ncd my best one was 1800 third party fire and theft insurance is a pure rip off

but as i sed in a previous post my landys on the road so i dont care

That's how you know when you've got the LR bug ... when you'd rather pay more than drive a matchbox on wheels like a Saxo or Corsa ... good on ya

ive got it ok

and i love it wouldnt want any other vehicle(bit weird when you meet up with your mates and there all in putt putt cars and i turn up in the defender

Nothing's Better than pulling up infront of your mates in a Landy, "So what litre is your engine in your Corsa again?" Haha Love It!

All my mate's love it, and yeah to be honest I'm not getting any decent quotes really you all seem to have done really well on your premiums but hey I love my Defender that much I'll pay £3000 a year insurance if I have to, "One Life, Live It" I take that into consideration when paying my insurance... Say's it all.

ye id go green insurance company there the cheapest out there take it from me

there pretty good to they didnt rape me to much for my direct debits neither but i did pay exactly half of as that was the max % you could pay if you wanted to do direct debit:doh:
but ye i love my defender wouldnt want anything else hope you get your insurance sorted bud
