Full service history.

Black leather seats has no abrasions or rips.

The v5, manauls/service books and invoices are present along with 2 sets of keys/fob.

It also has an alarm, two sun roofs, that act as a panoramic roof and rear lumbar support.

It has all the usual 4x4 functions with the different terrains and the hill descent function, I have only used this on the road, travelling to work purposes.

Its an automatic, so no worries about clutches to burn out.

Pulls well, with no leaks or knocks, there is no damage to the vehicle apart from the odd stone chip however due to it being a black vehicle they are hardly noticeable.

Mot due end of December 2020.

Happy for an independent inspection and road test.

I will listen to offers near the price stated.

I am happy to send further pictures.

HPI clear.

It's a great Landrover, will be sad to see it go however we are upgrading to a camper van.

I bought it in January 2019 for over £12,000 so grab a bargain.

I doubt it. I recently paid £2k for an SE, which has everything the HSE has, except for memory leather seats and Xenon headlamps. The engine needs some work, but otherwise it's mint.

2k for an SD4 in mint condition, really?. Sounds too good to be true. Does it require a new engine?.

What mine? It's a lot of car for the money, but it's a 58 plate TD4, not an SD4.
No engine needed!!
I needed to remove the head to see why there was low compression on No2 cylinder, finding the mangled remains of an EGR flange nut on the piston. The previous mechanic, obviously wasn't.

I've replaced the damaged piston, rebuild the head and now I've found out what the original problem was. It needs a new/replacement/repaired EDC, as it's got no injection to No3 until its warmed up, and under load No3 stops injection, presumably the drive Mosfet to that cylinder has failed. The EDC has also crudely been taken apart, so a replacement is the safest way to go.
I'm looking into the lowest cost option for this at the moment. ;)

Was thinking (just thinking) about selling my 2008 HSE, but you have scared me now, stands me at over 7k with all the things I have had done to it, nothing major in any way, but lots and lots of very minor things which have cost me well more than the TD4 you bought. Bugger.

The forecourt price for a 2008 HSE with average mileage is around £5,500, at a non franchise dealer, and more at an LR dealer. The price of the FL2 is currently on the rise, due to seasonal increase and the lack of new cars being bought.

I paid £2k for my SE, which was about £3,000 below market value, for its age, condition, and mileage, if the engine was working, which of course mine wasn't. By the time it's running correctly, with all the little niggles sorted, I'll have a half price FL2.:D
