You won’t have the flashing led, as soon as you unlock remotely or have the key in the ignition lock the led illumination will disappear, meaning the engine has been remobilise... usually.
Your issue appears to be the engine won’t crank... correct?

Don't you have to reinitialise or something in these circumstances? Don't know enough about it but seem to remember reading somewhere it is something to do with pressing the lock unlock fob over and over again until it all starts to work. @sierrafery will tell you I expect as he has more electrickery brains than me. Also have you tried locking and unlocking the door with the key at least 3 times? Elsewhere I have read says it could be the BCU maybe damaged when playing around with the started motor, did you do any of that? Did you disconnect the battery and then reconnect it properly when recharging it, respecting all the time constraints in the manual. did you recharge it without disconnecting it? All connections to Starter tight?

Thank you for the reply its looking like the The Body Control Unit that is damaged i am now looking in to how to remove etc to see if it is water damaged as i have had a damp issue on drivers side foot well water getting in some where...

Don't mess with the BCU as long as you dont have dedicated tester cos it's useless, check fuse F20 under the dash, if it's good remobilise the vehicle with the EKA code and replace the roof receiver for start...if you dont know the EKA code you are ph*cked.... NO NEED TO YELL THOUGH

Don’t confuse the OP... pressing the lock button is a D1 function when the fob or vehicles battery is disconnected and reconnected. ;)

This is what is new on the dash?
