Land Rover 110 - 1984 V8 - vented discs upgrade?

I have an early V8 110.

I'm going to be disturbing the braking system when I replace my bulkhead in the next few weeks.

I was considering fitting later model vented discs and calipers - although i'm not sure if it's a simple job on the earliest 110s?

Has anyone fitted the later vented discs to early axles?

My rear axle is 300tdi spec (discs) and would like the whole braking system to be 300tdi spec if possible.

Why ?
I had a 1984 110 V8, used to stop pretty well on the std set up. If I really stood on the pedal I could lock up all 4 wheels, that was running Pirelli scorpion a/t's.
