Hi,
My Partners L322 TD6 was pulled apart and told my a specialist Range Rover dealer it was not possible to repair. 2 years later and its perfect. never had a fault code and Ive done so many xorrosion repairs including replacing both subframes, now there is no reference to Rust in the MOTs. Not sure how thats happened.

Anyway, ive noticed that it changes gear a little to quick. no clonks, no bangs, smooth and silent. But it seams to change to quickly. Is this a sign, I was thinking oil and pan filter change, but I thought id get an opinion first.

Nothing wrong with servicing the gearbox as long as a sample of oil is taken first. If it's not black and stinking like it's burnt it should be OK.
Don't forget with the hotter weather the oil is also thinner and could have a subtle effect. Does it drive any differently with the temperature change. I. E cold and warmed up?

Thanks for your kind thought. It's hotter here than it was when I lived in Africa, never thought I would see the day when I longed for rain, even the river round our property is bone dry.:(
According to the Met Office, it is set to brake down next week, but don't hold your breath, they have been wrong before.
