Hello, another issue I have is that my L322 is sagging overnight. That happens when the car suspension is in normal position. I thought it might be a hole in the airbags or a hight sensor. So i tried to disconnect the battery and leave the car raised up to see what happens. The car stayed raised for a week! Another strange thing is that sagging occurs only if the car is left in normal position It wont happen when it's been raised (even with the battery connected).
The car of course sits on a flat surface, battery (seems to be) good

Any help I would appreciate
Thanks

You have a leaky bag:).

if you raise it, it’s possible that it closes the leak point.
If it stays up on high then it would say lines and blocks are ok.
Have you tried at normal height and disconnect battery, to see if 1 corner sags to give a clue:).

Don’t leave the fix for long as you will be doing a compressor next;).

Been there got the tee shirt. I’ve had the same issue twice on different cars. Literally a pin hole that is closed in nearly all situations and then without any reasoning down it goes. Soapy water on all settings. Good luck.
Tricky :)

I have pulled out the two suspension fuses from the boot, I will leave it a couple of days to see if it goes down. If it wont go down i will have eliminated the pin hole I guess....
Could it be battery related? I seem to have a few amber light audio issues as well. Battery reads 12.4V when engine is off... alternator seems to be working well charging it to 14.2-14.3... After a few days of the car sitting battery drops to 12.1-12.2... No battery drain though as I tested it (0.03A which is minimal)

12,4 on a battery is dead as you crank the volts will drop lower and throw up faults, MF31-1000 battery is what you want.

I agree with your suggestion Brian but my point is if it fits L322, i haven't found anyhting in any forums that it does fit. It fits the P38 but thats a different car ain't it?
I have also asked my garage, gave them its dimensions and they doubt if it fits.

I believe they do just fit (scraped knuckles here we come) I didnt fit 1 cos couldnt get 1 at the time but think some here have. @backinblack think he fitted1.
Must admit it doesnt sound the best battery, But;)
But at the moment its the suspension we are talking about and overnight not during driving.

Yes I have fitted one. Some say there is only mm to spare but I seem to have plenty of room, if you put the bonnet up in service position it makes it much easier.
Don't forget even with the car locked the air suspension ECU will wake up approximately every six hours and level the vehicle ride height, so if one corner drop the car will self level again
and drain the battery a bit each time.

Agree, funny thing is that it doesn't seem to self level, just stays sagged on one side. So you have fitted the MF31-1000? I will order it then.

What wouLd you consider a standard alt setup then?

Considering it was a LR battery that came off which was an AGM.

The old alternator set up had a constant voltage set point which is not good for AGM, newer vehicles have a variable charging voltage and the very new vehicles have real battery management suited to AGM. If the OEM battery was AGM then the charging system must be suited to it. Not a good idea to fit to the likes of a P38 though.

So, the car has been sitting for 2.5 days with both suspension fuses removed. Not an inch down! I am sure if I put the fuses back it will start sagging again. If there was a hole the wheel should be down I guess. Could it probably be a height level sensor or both?

Time to get it on diagnostics then I think.
It could be a height sensor worn out, but without diagnostics which 1 of the 4 is it?
