Having been on hold for a year whilst I've been working away, putting attention to getting my project back on four wheels (or at least four drive shafts, it's a start....).

One of the dust plates is corroded just a little bit too much to hold the hand-brake shoe retaining pins in place (what a carp design that is??!) - is there a workaround for this or do I need to fit a new plate with all the hassle that entails?

M6 nut and bolt, just nip the nylock nut then back it off a tadge to allow shoe to move, my d3 has been like this for a year or two.
