L322 front Air spring swap

Hi All - just changing the front air spring (2009) Vogue TDV8 cos it has a hole in it, strut is off - checked the video etc.. and the top of mine is not the same - in the video 2 small retaining bolts hold the heavy cover on to the top of the strut - on mine the cover /washer has a 14mm hex head recess - no probs I have the tool - the trouble is it doesn't unscrew - nothing else is turning (strut is solid) only the heavy metal cover / washer rotates with the wrench but doesnt unscrew - any ideas would be great - thanks in advance

Dont worry all - sorted it - a bit of LR ridiculous design - over came it with an angle grinder.
