you will need another body to hold the socket on straight, plus you might need a piece of scaffolding tube to use as extra leverage.

use the shortest extention always, that way you get less side to side, also t bars and longer extension but use the t bar with equal force both sides!

right got the bad head off woohoo got a set of sockets that remove rounded bolts!!
worked a treat but im stuck on the left hand side head cant get into the very furthest away underside exhaust manifold bolt spent £100 on tools trying to get into this and nothing will do it?????

ok turn the steering round till flat side is nearest the head you should be able to get at it then. hope you putting them heads in to be skimed

i would clean them finger nails and use some of that stuff to stop you biting em!!

oh you mean on the heads?? looks like a gasket failure to me, post some pics of corresponding pots!

ooh, also use a stright thin socket, 1/4 drive, instead of the massive 1/2 inch drive, test it with sockets you have if poss, not sure if they fit!!!

i have a 12 point long reach 3/8 socket on it with a flexi adapter and extension bar as small ratchet is even too big for in there and wont do a thing?
im totally stuck with it!

they look ok to be honest, have you seen the pic of my slippage?

both in that pic have slipped, can you see how the top of the liner is visible not just the chamfer

to be honest i have nothing to compare it with or the knowledge to says whats right and wrong first time this far in an engine lol

ah you mean the ring at the top seems to have slipped down i see that what would cause that then?

SO CAN ANY OF YOU GUYS CONFIRM THIS BLOWN HEAD GASKET WOULD CAUSE THE WATER IN THE OIL I.E THE WHITE SLUDGE ON OIL CAP???
