We try and do a ford at the end of a trip, not sure it helps that much though.
Local garage with a jet wash tends to moan when we turn up. I try to go when it's raining so he can't be bothered to come out.
It was OK when my parents were on the farm as really you need to spend half a day with the jet wash after a trip.

Im confused.... what is this 'wash' you speak of, this is a new and alien concept to me when used with the word 'defender'?

The earth I see stuck on your trucks are mear reminders of your day and add character, and hopefully bits will fall off and cause an annoying cyclist to slip and feel 'pain'...

No idea what lift it has , come with current suspension when I brought it will be going back to standard shocks and springs as and when I can afford it
Look like a 50MM / 2inch jobby.
Gwyn Lewis has the OME shocks very reasonable, cheapest I could fin, worth knowing when you come to do it, Standard LR springs are cheap too.

My son fitted standard spec springs to his Ninety a few years back and been happy with them on and off road. Britpart cellular dynamic shocks seem OK aswell.

Nice trip round my old area of lenham today. Spotted the pilgrims way had a few restrictions(a20 up towards faversham road)
Then spotted another lane looks a bit overgrown.
No time to stop as was working and the last sign I saw was “ not for long vehicals”
& the queue behind me was getting covered in branches.
I did get my wheels dirty though on the job
