All I'm hoping is I come back with something on the trailer and it's not just a big lump of rusty cheese and not worth bringing home.

for the price of the doozil there and back would it be worth flying up there to go see it? cant cost you more than £100 in flights and a taxi id have thought? then go back and get it when you know its a good un?

Pump tyres up hard to lessen the bounce when it's on the trailer.
Put a ratchet strap round each tyre like they do on the car transporters and one each end on the towing eye to pull the chassis down, it'll never move that way.

Well i'm taking the tribe with me, booked a nice hotel by a loch and i'm making it a family road trip.

To be honest for what I am paying for it I can scrap it and still make a few quid after covering costs.

But i'd like to put it back on the road and use it for laning and expeditions as my Discovery is getting a little cramped now.

This is another 110. That is quite real although may be made of cheese. :D

Have you told them yet... or is it a family holiday to Scotland (randomly with a car trailer, but, these things happen) then suddenly, out of know where the 110 will appear?! :D

:D:D:D:D:D:D Why have we got a trailer on the back?

Eh? trailer? Where?

I've done it before... we were over half way there before I said to the wife... oh yeh we're collecting X while we're there, hence the car trailer and she hadn't even noticed we had it attached  That's a Cambridge degree education for you

Mid way through the road trip. Landy loaded and travelling ok. Weight biased to the front and strapped down and tied up like an politician with a luncheon voucher.
