I started this thread,just to let you all know there is a sniper at the gate to this Landy zone intruduce yourself section.When I have some free time ,asap,I will sit down and read most of seanie boys posts,recent and past, just for a laugh .
I didn't satart,yes satart this thread to have mr.mhm at the throat of chromiumuk or anyone else getting involved.
sean has shown himself up to be an ignorant ****tard,who should be banned for 3 days.
He won't get banned/suspended,but ,we can choose not to reply or aknoledge(HOW ever the fuk you spellit) his ignorant bull****,bullpoo in his language.If you could only seeme right now and rekon I was queer,just because I drive a2ldoozil and a 1.8 alfa.I think its about time you moved on to the next village , bhoyo.

Thanx,I've bin thinking.If you gave those honourable people who bought series 1 way way back then,the choice of a seiries 1 or a freelander,I think I know what one I'd pick.Just look at the ridiculous high prices of a good s1,ll,lll.For **** sake give people some respect flander haters.

Sean doesn't deserve a ban of any kind. But if he can rant on Freelanders, I can rant on him. :D I still think he isn't helping anyone with this crusade against Freelanders. But still, if he's in the neighbourhood, he can come and rant on Freelanders to me over a pint of beer. I promise not to make a pass on him. :rolleyes:

I contributed to the thread in question. Seems to me some of the Freeby owners are a little touchy. What Sean said in his post was sensible advice and I totally agree with it. The OP is best served if he weighs up all options before blindly choosing a Freelander because of "size".

Yes I do have a 90, but I can speak from experience regarding the Freelander unreliability as my mechanic father has been working on Land Rovers for 40 years.

Freelanders are ****e and potential owners need to be warned.
And yes, I am speaking from experience - I had 2 for 3 years / 60,000 miles each.
 
Ok as we're all coming out of the closet. I had one for 3 yrs with only problem being the clutch and the sunroof ****ing up (got rid when a clunking sound developed at the back end). My sisters on the other hand has had 2 headgaskets go and various other problems.

Was already sadly aware of this sniper from when I first joined, exactly as you say Wulfie. Oh & you won't get much of a laugh reading his posts - they really aren't that interesting.
Whilst there are other guys on here not so keen on our chosen mode of transport they are at least good humoured with their ribbing & will happily offer us help & advice if we're stuck so we shouldn't let the odd rotten apple spoil what is a great & enjoyable forum.

Now, time to hear that old gem about me doors falling off when it rains:D:D:D
