Japanese spec discovery owners

TO ALL JAP SPEC V8 DISCO OWNERS - i HAVE FOUND A SUPPLY OF SECOND HAND POST CATALYTIC TEMP SENSORS PART NUMBER (AMR 2463) IN NEW ZEALAND.

DONT KNOW COST AS YET BUT SHOULD NOT BE TOO EXPENSIVE.

THESE ARE NO LONGER MADE BY LAND ROVER AND NO LONGER AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE BRAND NEW. ONLY ORIGINALLY AVAILABLE FROM LR JAPAN

DOES ANYONE ELSE APART FROM ME REQUIRE A REPLACEMENT SET?

PLEASE PM ME IF SO REQUIRED.

Bugger - I've got an ex Jap 300Tdi.......

This has just brought up a question from me about my Jap 300Tdi auto.
Still fitted with the original Cat converter
After 16 years should i be getting rid of it because:-

is it doing any good after this time or will it be choked up solid?

Any suggestions folks or do I just carry on

Honda Crossroad - No.

Mine is (was) a fairly low spec '95 300Tdi - indistinguishable from a UK model apart from a radio that didn't pick up UK freqs. Now fitted with a 2.8TGV.

2006 - Imported

2012 - Still being modified

Thanks Mark. It is (and always will be) an ongoing project.

Currently, the bumper is off to put in jacking tubes and so I can fit a full width Allisport intercooler - I'll put pics on here.

Bin it, slap a straight through pipe in, it makes no difference to emmissions.

Then weigh it in with a scrappy for between £60 and £120!! Job done.

I wish I'd weighed mine in - would have paid for the replacement pipe.

Auf weisersen pet

I bought a disco cos my hilux surf is rubbish at towing the wifes Horse Trailer
After seeing yours I'm wondering if I can get away with modding the disco to look like yours now....all in the interest of making it a better tower of course .

Do it in stages so she doesn't realise it.
