tells yer what you can keep the chavvy tyres and snorkel and i'll ave the fender as a straigh swap fer me series ! might even let yer keep the clock !!!!!

That's an awesome defender, but the choice is yours. Sounds like you enjoy a project, so maybe a change is as good as a rest. Like that Hang Over badge on the Range Rover, mite have to pinch that idea.

Your Drunk!

Has you lost enthusiasm due to not using it for what you built it for Rich?

Sometimes i feel like that (All bloody spend and no fun in return!) But then the next off road outing i have in it and i have the daftest silly grin on me face again!

looking at how clean and Immaculate ya 90 is looks like youve not gone out and had any fun in it mate!

My advice would be to go and use it for what you built it for one last time then make ya mind up! Yes the rangie could prob do just as much but its not a patch on the beast you already have!

Plus youl have to swap your name for 'wiltshirerangieman' and it doesnt sound as good ;)

been out in it a few times and it has a few scratches on it now..
i dont know what it is maybe its because its now finished i dunno..

i just fancy the v8 bobtail thing.and the money i would get for the 90 would all go on the rangie, arb diffs 35" tyres etc..

had a drive in it today and all seems gd..just gotta get me head rnd fings

Obviously completely up to you, but I think you're a madman. That 90 is nigh-on perfect, in fact I don't really think I've seen a better looking one. Why don't you use it for what it was REALLY built for, and do an expedition or something? I'm sure that would re-whet your enthusiasm for it again.

Depends what your definition of astronomical is ;)

To me, that vehicle with that spec in that condition with a decent listing and nice pictures and a no-reserve listing = crazy bidding on eBay.
gonna spend all day sunday cleaning it and then taking pics and then whack it on fleabay

if it dont reach a reasonable amount i can always pull it from auction

not expecting it to fetch that tbh..but upwards of £4.5k is where i want it

Mate, I doubt you'll have any problems at all getting that amount.

I recently sold the V8 110 (see my profile pic) on eBay for £4,450 - reasonable condition, carbed 3.9 V8 with an old single point LPG conversion, but nothing really that special. Just make sure you make a big fuss about all the good points on the vehicle (loads of them), you can never have too much detail. At the same time be honest and frank about any negatives if any.

Good luck if that's what you decide to do :)

I have been having the same feelings about the defender, but going the other way -> 1964 2A.
Mine is a similar spec to yours, has genuine defender 200tdi engine, recon lt77, TD5 axles, been painted epson green, electric windows, winch, 285 bfg muds, new bulhead, new props, new tank, new shox & springs, etc, etc,
Was thinking that I'd get £3k if I break it.
