Thanks for info...Been to my local garage this morning and let him have a look as he mainly specializes in series 3 and early defenders.It seems to be sorted now as the gear changes is as smooth as before(no grinding etc into any gear)He said the same as me about a bit of air in the clutch fluid,and if the problem persists just to bleed the system...Thanks for all ya help
