Is this the Slut of all Landies?

Looks very good, but no idea what's actually fitted to it as I couldn't read the massive wall of text in the description :p

Hah hah yes it is a bit of a tome. What I don't get is why he has spent so much time and money on it but not got the gear box sorted. He says he likes having to drop to third from fifth to get it into fourth. Odd.

I would put good money on it that has never seen mud apart from a camp site!

The only reason he is selling it is because he has ran out of space to put tatt.

Getting there.

That's a nice 90, but as someone said, why hasn't he sorted the gearbox?

I'd love to spend 28k on my Defender. My next job with be to look at the half shafts in the rear axel as everytime I take up drive I get a nice thunk as it drives off.

Id like to read the entire description but I would need to book a day off work. He isn't going to get his money back, I'd just remove everything that's not specific to a 90 snd fit it to a 110, if he wants something bigger.

I didnt notice the 28k bit, but then who would with a description like that,, but have to say if I spent 28k it would not have chequer plate to hide the door bottom rot!
Its a 90 van with bits bolted on.

That Landy on Ebay looks nice. Surprised it didn't make more money, but l guess it's a specialist conversion.
Looking at the base vehicle, it's done close to 200,000 miles, the chassis/rear crossmember is "slightly rusted" and there's a gearbox fault. He says he's spent over £18,000 in parts and it looks a superb job. But as mentioned above, why did he not fix the gearbox fault and repair/Waxoyl the chassis/crossmember? It's the first thing l'd do....get the base vehicle right.
