Is this a lot of work?

I think there is a lot better out there for that price. Loads of water in picture so car just been washed for photo and the camera always makes it look ok but pants when you get there. I had TD and it was fine but 200tdi is big step up. I got better one for £1500. Perhaps I was lucky but the condition shown on photos suggests to me the important stuff (service, oils etc) may have been overlooked.

this is exactly what I want to do...just completely at a loss as to where to start. I actually know jack about cars or anything requiring oil....infact basic DIY is often basterdised by me...although have absolutely no qualms about getting hands on and dirty

I have found a basic maintenance and off road/handling thingy with landrover that is literally just up the road from me which I am booking on but I am guessing it is more where to put the oil and how to keep the thing upright and a rip off price

You helpful lz guys could be quids in organising some kind of eejits session to try and save landys from the wield of spanners for those less capable

Is this a lot of work?
