Is this a Defender seat?

I had two of these seats fitted in my Series 3 when I got it. I have since re-fitted the original type.

Are these from vehicles of the Defender family? If so, what time period were they used?

They are SAAB seats

Thanks for the reply.

From looking online these are used to fit into Land Rovers, and VW camper conversions. Are the mounts similar to the Defender?

The frame would have been modified most probably on to a Defender set of runners, quite common conversion, the only downside is you cannot remove the seat bases to get access to the battery or storage bin, and can make the seating position too high.
