To reply to the OP. your roof rack doesn't look like it will allow the fold out type roof tents to deploy as it has sides.I can't see from the picture if there is a tube round the back as well - you could decide to cut off the bar at the back so you could deploy a tent off the rear - if you could find something that fits between the rails - and these are likely to make 3 people Very cosy. The bigger roof tents will deploy off the side and have extra room but don't look compatible with your roof rack.
I'd suggest selling the roof rack for something compatible if you're really set on a roof tent.
If you're going in the summer, can use the vehicle to protect the tent from the worst of any weather, will be moving every day packing things up. Then I'd suggest something like this:

just for ease of use and if you're not going to use it again.
That's a brilliant set up Kevin. I'd love to have bought it. It dunt look like it'll fit unfortunately. To sit inside my roofrack it would need to be 71" x 55" max.
If it sleeps 4 you could go touring with @Mackers & the Grimsby girlsI wasnt trying to sell it to you All my gear is from direct 4x4, ive had a look on there site for the
hard shell tent, the 2 man tent is just a tad too long at 84" width is 54"
Here's a link as they have other nice gear to put on your wish list.

Lol He's very welcome. The girls"ll sort him in the roof tent. Since it looks like we'll be parking on dogging sites I've decided to stay in the cargo area. I've just bought a massive cone drill bit to make an oval hole in my rear door which I'm replacing after the trip anyway. It's gonna be tricky finding a corresponding sized rubber grommet though (I may have to use foam and gorrilla tape). I would've drilled the side panel, but based on a spectrum of 27 to 34 inch inside leg, the flipping cargo sides get in the way. I'll hang a sign on the spare wheel "Lucinda's luscious lips"If it sleeps 4 you could go touring with @Mackers & the Grimsby girls
