Hi Im after another freelander and I have seen one on ebay. Has anyone had experience of using ebay to purchase a landy before?

bought my freelander on ebay 5 years ago, no problems, just carry out the checks you would do for buying it anywhere else, just another way of advertising really.

thank you, its an 04 plat 78k on the clock, auto diesel, currently £4,100 on auction. Its a TD4 SE, Heated seats, elctric wing mirrors half leather etc etc. How much would you say this is worth?

im looking to buy the car but im rubbish with value, just looking to see what people think an 04 freelander auto diesel is worth?

look around and see how much YOU are willing to pay, and stick to it, don't get caught up in the auction fever.

make sure you view before you buy, although if its not as described in the ad, you don't have to buy it, you wouldn't be popular, and I wouldnt reccomend it, but thats how it is.

found mine on ebay, was a classified ad, but still on ebay.

That my friend, is a loaded question!

Personally, I would value it at about £10. Enough to buy a small jerry can of fuel and a box of matches...

Yes but how accurate are these, dealers on ebay and auto trader are selling this make and model from 5.5k to 7k - all with 65,000 miles +.

I think these websites are just tools for the sharks to buty cars for next to nothing and sell them on.

The site you gave showed the cars value at 2.5k - 3.9k trade in value
3.7k-4.6k private and from 3.9k-5.6k from a dealer

This acnt be accurate based on how much these cars seem to seel for. Im sure based on that everyon on here would lose thousands on their landys?????
