Is a BORDEAUX worth more than a Vogue?

Hi All, I have been looking for a 2001 V8 P38 and have found two identical in terms of history and age and mileage.. but the BORDEAUX is one of 200 produced... and is at a £1500 premium over the Vogue... is it really worth the extra? it looks lovely... 5k verses 6and a half ... the dealer claims this
BORDEAUX is appreciating in value.. im skeptical... maybe his bank balance is... am i wrong... all in its a lovely car all history there... but an extra 1500 quid would buy a lot of repairs... advice from anyone with experience or knowledge of this Ltd edition model please :monitor_punch:

200 Bordeaux models made - 100 4.0 V8's and 100 2.5 Diesels....

Based on the entry level 2001 County model the boasted sunroofs and all had automatic gearboxes...

Priced on the road at £38,995 to compete with the Merc ML430 of the time.

Finished in Wine coloured Alveston Red with the bumpers, sills and door mirror heads body coloured to match. the 18in Pro-Sport alloys also had the Red highlights on the spokes.

Interior was upholstered in Lightstome Leather and Rowanberry Red piping and matching carpets. The steering wheel, door trims, handbrake gater and gearshift knob were all in Lightstome Leather....

Whilst made in limited number, they have no more 'toys' than a standard model....and aside from a few styling cues like the red piping, carpets, and alloy wheel highlights, are no different apart from knowing you would own a limited edition model...but desirable, I don't think so...Braemer, CARiN, Holland and Holland, Overfinch and Linleys are the most sought after P38's (Linleys can carry a hefty premium if genuine and untouched)

Trouble is, Land Rover were getting ready to launch the L322 and wanted to shift the P38 of the showrooms and factory floor...so they gave them little tweaks and funny named colours and made them 'limited edition'....so unless it is a big name as above, doubtful they would appreciate in value.

It's like anything, it's what it's worth to you! I don't like that colour and I don't like colour-coded stuff on P38's anyway so to me it's too expensive...

If it were a clean Plymouth blue Classic hard dash Vogue I'd have no problem paying that.
