I have just realised I didn't refit the interior roof light following my rebuild. I now have a couple of loose wires under my roof liner. Is this gonna cause me issues? haven't been using vehicle much to find out so far. Tempted just to leave it if no issues likely.

You did a full rebuild yourself??

I 'project managed' it, sending it off to various 'specialists'. Mostly a bunch of shiesters who left me with huge amounts of work to do when vehicle came back. Galvanised chassis, reconditioned engine (which I now suspect was never opened!) bodywork (thankfully, an amazing job and a top bloke).

My problem was the work had to be done in Ireland which limited my options and I am sure with the economic situation there all sorts of scams are under way.
Overall I am pleased with the result but a serious snagging list, mostly electrical is needing to be sorted.

Any ideas on the light?

Wont cause any harm if left alone, i drilled mine by mistake when retrimming the roof lining!
You can always kill the power to the roof light wiring by just switching the switch off by your right knee

There are two wires to the interior lights. Purple is fused live, this really should be taped up so it cant short, otherwise it will take out the fuse. That fuse probably also has some other stuff on it, so they will stop working to, if that happens.

The purple/blue wire is switched earth from the door switches, so it doesn't matter what it touches as long as it's not the purple wire.
