Just got all new tyres onMine looks new too, but it's 12 years old. The only way to check it is by doing the one wheel up test.
That depends on tyres. If a mishmash of odd make tyres are fitted, the it needs checking weekly. If all tyres are then same, with the least worn on the rear, then a 6 monthly check is advisable.
They all look like new on the outside but it's the inside that matters. Most cars with over 100k miles could do with having it replaced or refurbed.Just checked mine. All good. Looks like brand new one been fitted recently
Thanks for help

Hi I put thermostat in where you put your oneHere's where it fits in the auto Freelander top hose (circled in red) The auto's top hose is quite a bit smaller then that manual's hose, but it does fit. I used plumbers silicone grease to help get the thermostat into the hose.

Heaters amazing. Temp at 12. Only worry I have is the fluid only dribbling in expansion tank. Is that ok.
Had landrover before but all petrol
Took her 10 plus mile run and all seems fine. Am I worrying for nothing
Blrad her about 5 times and once on 45 degree angle.

Thanks for getting back to me I can breath now .love the warmthThe system is self bleeding. Just keep topping up the coolant over the next few weeks. After a while, all the air will be out The return does only trickle a small amount back to the tank, taking any air with it.
Been doing that. It's nearly there. Popping out for a bit now. Will do the final push later lolUse a length of pipe the right diameter to go over the tip to shove it in.
heading home to finish it off now. Just got to push it in about another 5 or 6mm, hose back on, fill up and go.I used plenty of silicone grease when I fitted mine, then pushed it in as far as I could with a similar size pipe. Mine has the sensing bulb just entering the top hose outlet, which also gives sufficient hose to clamp on to the outlet.
