Immobiliser issues

Hi everyone,
I bought my disco3(traded up from my freelander) only 2 months ago and its spend the last week in the garage trying to get answers to why my immobiliser won't allow the car to start.
Its a 2006 (on a 55 plate) TDV6
Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions before I have to take it 150 miles to my nearest LR dealer?

I haven't tried that, but I'll check that my local garage, who has the car, has!
Anything else to check for?

That's the first thing to do on immobilised cars.... i'm not very familiar with D3's system... ask here too DISCO3.CO.UK - View Forum - Technical (D3) ,maybe u find a real D3 guru

I've also informed local garage that Halforda had put in a Bluetooth unit 24 hours before, just incase!!

FIRST check that there are NO radio emitting devices anywhere near you that operate on or near 433 mHz frequency.

If there are ANY, such as a weather station or greenhouse monitor that sends data to some device in the house, or any of the radio controlled shop devices, TURN THEM OFF (take out the batteries) or tow the car away from them. 50 to 100 yards should be far enough.

Then try again.
