Immobiliser-Help a newbie plz

Hi,
Took my 05 freelander 1800 petrol to kwirk flirt to have a new manifold fitted.Then get a phone call from them telling me part fitted but have a problem,car wont start..to get to manifold he had to move alternator, and disconnected battery..tried 2 sets of keys nothing..cant contact landrover till tuesday,wife back at work monday night.thanx

Is it turning over? Sounds more likey to be the inertia switch to me.

thanx 4 reply..car not turning over, told fitter about inertia switch,phoned back said nuttin happened..asked him if red light went off when key in ignition..he said yes after a while..thanx

sounds like starter motor then. If the lights out and it aint turning over

i forgot, not everyone on here has a range rover. I coulda swore i was in the range rover section tho....
