I never even saw that Kurt

He gave me 20 quid to fuck off as my beautiful car was making his look shady :p:D

Actually, it was a V6 and a clean looking car :)

At that point I would have tried selling it to him lol

He was thinking more along the lines of the Audi Q3 Quattro that he'd shortlisted. Instead he bought a BMW M 1, which isn't any use when the road is even remotely slippery. He'd have no interest in 13 year old Freelander 1, even though it got him to work and back.

I recently sold my m3 vert totally useless in the winter, even in the wet it wanted to kill you lol I always tucked it
away for the winter, there is no way I would have a bmw as my only car. We are quite remote so a 4x4 is always
needed (just an excuse to have more toys):D:D

My wife has a E46 vert, although not an M3. She uses the BMW in the summer and drives the family Kuga AWD when the vert is parked up for winter. We are also in a semi rural location, some 3 miles from the nearest bus route. So we always have at least 1 4X4, it just happens we have 2 at the moment. The Kuga is surprisingly good in the snow, giving just as much traction as the FL1. However with the Ford being a manual box, I always think the auto Freelander is offers better control on slippery surfaces.

My wife wants another motor but I'm not sure what to get her tbh, she like's my 90 with the truck cab
but I'm reluctant to give her it............ il need to build another one haha
I will have a look at the kuga's how much boot space is there as we have 2 dogs ;)

The Kuga isn't bad for luggage space, well our 2016 model isn't. The pre-2013 had smaller boots and were generally smaller all over. I quite like the Kuga, especially our AWD version. The AWD is only available with the 182 Ps diesel engine, so it's pretty rapid if you plant the right foot hard down. It's economical too, averaging 38 Mpg round our country lanes.

I told her to go on ebay & have a look at them she came back in less than a min & said I like this one haha....................

Nice to see tratterers helping out Freelanders and their owners. Any eggscuse to get yer hands on a Freelander...

£8 for wd40 in a spray can... yer can buy a 5L tub of wd40 liquid only (no air pressure) and it comes with a manual spray bottle. About £23. Fill the spray bottle yerself and squeeze the trigger.
