My cheque came through so I now have the money I have been waiting for so I can go out and buy my Disco :).
As such I decided to get a proper quote rather than go comapre type sites etc.

Go Compare etc quoted about £600+ at best.
After using the search feature on here it seemed a few recomended Adrian Flux.

Adrian Flux quoted £360 as a semi classic policy with green laneing inc, that gave me an even bigger smile :D.

Now I have to wait for the cheque to clear and I can start doing some shopping whoop whoop!!

Frank Pickles dont insure 4X4's any more they refer you to Adrian Flux.

My modded Disco 300Tdi was £280 with Adrian Flux, with all the extras like protected no claims, legal protection, loss of keys etc etc etc it came out at £420 which i was happy with.

Do you need those etras? Yes is my answer as I had a no fault accident 2 years ago and had great trouble without them, so I now have the lot to cover my backside.

I was told Lancasters are very good if your Disco is a second car and you have a low mileage policy but I cover quite a high mileage like 15,000 last year.

Ahhh, I guees I should give more detail then,

Its insured as a second car so they cant count my 7yrs NCB as thats used on my other car, but they do take them into account in some way.

Im 27 with 3points(Mobile Phone), the Missus (27 as well) who is also covered on the policy has no points but a non fault accident 3yrs ago.

So all in all a group 12 car for under £400 I am happy as my VW Vento renewal was over £600 and that just has alloys and suspension mods.
