Probably at a dealer for an extortionate sum. I thought mine was knackered, it turned out to be wear on the key blade, a new blade sorted it.

I have read that the dealers say the mechanism cannot be replaced and the whole assembly is needed. It's not true, the mechanism is easy to remove. You do mean the mechanical part and not the switch?

No, the barrel where the key goes, I only have one key so I am a little reluctant to send it off If I can manage till summer ,i will go and see Les Edwards in Wales and see about 2 keys and getting my fob repaired.

It was supposed to work and didn't. I couldn't live with that so had to fix it.
