When you're that far up the A1 it shouldn't matter much. I've driven from Newcastle to Skye late at night and seen only about 2 other cars.

This week, for work, I have mostly driven 1070 miles round the Highlands. The majority of it getting stuck behind bloody campers doing the obligatory 35mph, bloody cyclists doing the obligatory "either" 12mph give or take or fifteen of them in a row and you have no where to overtake the selfish b@stards (selfish because it matters not a jot to these spandex clad fannies that you only have a certain time to get places, worse if on the tacho) and all of the above on winding roads going up hill.
But the feckers that REALLY wind me up are bikers. They overtake on the most dangerous bends, then they slow down and woe betide you if you dare to chance overtaking them back!
If I am gigging, I can drive 100 miles without seeing another vehicle of any description, but the nano second I arrive at Tore roundabout, at least 23 cars are going to be coming from my right

Ah, tourist season. Yes, the lycra clad brigade is a new phenomenon. I cycled for years in jeans or normal shorts and a T shirt with no issues. I know legally you can go 2 abreast on a main road but common courtesy would imply single file is more polite in today's traffic. When I used to drive tractors we'd pull in if we had more than 6 cars behind. Caravans should do the same!
Exactly! If I'm pulling an older cabin (the square ones on single axle) they can be a mare. Some will start the J Lo dancing at 47mph, so you're kinda stuck. More than two vehicles and I pull in at the next available. Problem is, too many toss potts with little or no regard to people in a bit of a hurry...
I calculated the time spent behind bikes (directly or in a queue behind them) and this week it totaled 1hr 11min.
Can you believe that? Over an hour lost to total knob heads who think of no one but themselves. I get why the driver down south drove on the cycle path next to the c*#ts.
I never understand why they think it is safe and perfectly understandable to cycle on a main trunk route! I hear that some think since bikes were invented first, they have more rights! Well, here's an argument stopper for them. Aye, bikes were around first. Then came cars. However, automotive transport has evolved. There is ABS, ASR, Air Bag, Side Impact Protection, Self Braking Cars, Pedestrian Impact Protection Systems and so forth, but bikes have NONE of the above. Guess who's going to come off worst?

I used to have a Cobar Blue P38 when I still lived in New Zealand. I regret selling it as it looked stunning - but as I moved to the UK with no intention of going back to live any time, I decided to sell it. A part of me still regrets selling it - but it would have been unfair to keep it locked up somewhere for the odd occasion I was back in the country!

We dont see many cars where we live. Lucky to see three at a crossing. Although ploughing through cyclists who think they own the road is great fun. Going to fit a plough. joke....i also ride a bike... respectfully.

I have a 2000 4.6 auto Petrol P38 Icelandic Blue Vogue Code 621 colour built on 30th August 2000 left the factory with 18" Hurricane wheel rims and has done 98,000 miles.Am I the only one to own a Range Rover P38 with the paint code 621, Icelandic Blue Pearl?
I "keep" being told it is an unusual and gorgeous colour, not to mention the fact George is extremely clean.
So, I simply wondered if there are any other 621 colour coded Range Rovers on the forum.
BTW, she's going beautifully. Regularly reaches the ton on the old foot to the board on Sport mode
