How easy or hard is it to work on these things

Thanks, do you know what the different colours are? The description of the black and the yellow britpart ones are the same :( is it just colour preference?
I can see the polybush brand ones have different colours for different characteristics
With the Britpart ones I think it is just a colour difference tbh someone else may say otherwise if I'm wrong but if your not worried about losing a small amount of comfort against the polybush comfort ones then I wouldn't spend the extra as I have used them in the past on several land rovers and never had a problem

I fitted the blue "Comfort" ones. Biggest mistake I ever made. The car was undriveable if you hit a pothole over 50mph

I have read that black is the soft version and close to original. People have said the other bushes are too hard. No personal experience.

As for Working on the P38, the engine, drive train, brakes, etc. are pretty straight forward although coil packs are hard to change. Worst jobs are blend motors and heater O rings.

So they're relatively ok to work on but electrics are a pain
Yes if you are mechanically minded you shouldn't have any issues, it is just the electrical side that can be finicky and confusing to sort out at times

P38 in particular, mechanically I'm pretty much ok but strength and health wise debatable. Worked on many cars over the years nothing major apart from a 6sp gearbox a few months ago on a punto and vowed I wouldn't doo it again.
So how easy or hard is it work on these ie brakes, wishbone/ control arms, ball joints (compared to cars), drop links ect.
Obviously parts are bigger and heavier but I'm wary very wary.
Do what I have. A very good excellent neighbour who loves getting his hands dirty and knows what he is doing. My P38 has put me in hospital twice when doing bigger jobs, mind you I do have heart and other problems:D:D
BUT they are an easy car to work on. Go for it

I wish my neighbour liked getting her hands dirty, mind you it would probably kill me.:D
